Boon Keng Road Fish Head Bee Hoon and Seafood Soup

A rare find in the neighbourhood! In contrast with the usually bland MSG-flavoured soup, this one serves fresh fish (seabass and batang) slices accompanied with richly flavored soup. The rich fish stock seems to be cooked for many hours using fish bones (and dried shrimps or bian yu?) to produce the opaque soup. Bittergourd is also added to the soup. The thickness of the fish are well-sliced and every bite of the meat is succulent and chewy.

The coffee and teh drinks are very fragrant here too! Make sure you order one to accompany your delicious fish soup!
