Ting Yuan Hot Pot Buffet

I thought I was a good chilli-eater. Hence I requested to have 大辣 (high level) of spiciness for the ma la broth. Little did I know that I felt so hot that I felt like fainting! Haha…. Hence I took a bowl to scoop up the chilli oil. However it was still very very spicy!! Hence I took another bowl and this was what happened to the ma la soup – looking pale red with two full bowls of chilli oil by the side:

Finally clear of chilli and edible. Lol. But the spiness level was really really shioking.

The shop doesn’t really have a large variety of food, but they had fish paste. It’s an ala carte buffet. They have a lesser variety of meat. Food was fresh though. They promised us free drinks but they forgot about it. The stall was too busy probably and some of our others did not arrive even after a second order.
